Brush Decorated Mukozuke (Persimmon)

E-Karatsu (brush decorated) wheel thrown and altered mukozuke deep food dish.  Body of medium red Karatsu clay blended with single stone porcelain and weathered porcelain granules. Brush decorated with iron pigment and glazed with a clear feldspathic glaze.

Brush decoration of persimmon tree and fruit, hanging drying persimmons.

Wood fired for 52 hours, 1230C
