Madara Karatsu Kozara

This small dish was wheel thrown and altered.  Very rough clay body with extensive stone inclusions and effects. Polished before shipping.

Soft rice straw ash glaze reacts with the rough body to produce a dramatic landscape. Dish size ideal for small snacks, appetizers, and desserts.

Wood fired for 52 hours, 1300+C
