This is an ash glazed cylindrical bowl with 2 ash glazes: rice straw ash, iron/ash.
The body of the bowl is a blend of Karatsu white clay, Izumiyama sand, and Shirakawa stone granules. The bowl was hand formed by pinching
from a ball of clay.
朝鮮唐津沓形茶盌です。軽い沓形です。
Signed and stamped corded Kiribako (wood box), and protective cloth included.
