The body of this cup is made from Izumiyama stone, with extra porcelain stone granules and Iga stoneware clay added into the body.

Underglaze gosu (impure cobalt) geometric brushwork, feldspathic glaze, fired 52 hours in my wood kiln

Beautiful blush and texture on the naked stone of the foot. This item is listed as a rice bowl, but is equally comfortable containing other food items, tea, and other liquid refreshments.
